The Trojans played the number one ranked Cochrane Cobras  in the final. They fell behind in the first half as Cochrane showed why they earned  their number one ranking by making 13 threes. At the half the Trojans were down by thirteen, the largest deficit they had  faced all season.

Trojan defense came up big allowing Cochrane only a single point in the third
quarter. The Trojans continued to narrow the margin and the crowd erupted as the Trojans tied the game with five seconds left sending the game into overtime. With great execution at both ends of the floor the Trojans finally went up by one point and never gave it back eventually winning 60 to 57.

This  story book ending is due in part to the amazing support of our fans, years of hard work by our players, the unwavering support of the parents and the tremendous effort by Kristy Brown to organize provincials and Graime Thaine who assisted as the co-chair.

I would like to give a special thank you to my co-coaches; John Hamilton and Davin Wilcox as without your knowledge and enthusiasm and shared love of this sport  we would have never achieved the Provincial Gold Championship.
