Stained Glass 15 (Beginner)

An introductory course designed to instruct the basic techniques (copper foil and lead came) of stained glass. Students learn to cut glass efficiently, and to assemble and complete foiled sun catchers, three dimensional projects, and lead projects.

Stained Glass 25 (Intermediate)
3 or 5 credit
This course is designed for the serious stained glass student interested in exploring advanced techniques of stained glass art. Areas covered in the program will include: designing patterns, cartoon presentation, sandblasting, depth carving, painting (vitreous paint), slumping, fusing, form lamp making, stepping stones, and a major lead project.
Material Cost: 3 credit-$45, 5 credit-$60
Prerequisite: Stained Glass 15.
Stained Glass 35 (Advanced)
5 credit
This course is designed for the serious stained glass student interested in exploring more advanced techniques in stained glass art. In addition to skills learned in previous classes the students may explore warm glass (slumping and fusing), traditional glass painting techniques (vitreous paint) and a relatively new area of stained glass, Vitri-Fusaille.
Material cost-$60.
Prerequisite: Stained Glass 25.
